Minimally Invasive Thyroid Treatments (MITT) have been demonstrated to be effective treatments for benign and malignant thyroid diseases and are increasingly integrated into clinical practice throughout Europe and worldwide.
Growing evidence and continuous technological evolution are progressively reshaping the management of thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Founded in 2018 in Italy, the MITT group promotes multidisciplinary collaboration among physicians involved in minimally invasive thyroid treatments, with the aim of improving the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic management of thyroid and
parathyroid diseases.
The 2027 MITT Conference will further strengthen its international and European dimension, bringing together experts from multiple countries to share their experience and discuss evolving evidence, new technologies, clinical indications, and future perspectives of MITT.
A distinctive feature of the 2027 edition will be the organization of several joint sessions together with international scientific societies involved in minimally invasive treatments of the thyroid, promoting interdisciplinary discussion and international cooperation in research, education, and guideline development.
Interactive sessions, expert debates, video-based procedural learning, and reallife clinical case discussions will provide participants with a practical and clinically oriented educational experience.
The meeting will conclude with a dedicated hands-on afternoon session, allowing participants to directly experience different ablation technologies and techniques on dedicated phantoms under expert supervision.
